About Me:

Summarizing myself is a hard task. I have many dreams, passions, and ambitions in life. The only thing holding me back from conquering them all is time. When I was 15 I first made the United States Junior Olympic Team for Trapshooting, which allowed me the opportunity to start traveling around the country. By the time I was about to turn 16, I realized I was ready to move on from high school and found a program that allowed me to go to college at the University of West Georgia and send back those college credits finish my high school degree. The summer I was turning 17 I was gearing up to start my four year college undergraduate program at the University of Missouri. At that time I toured a NBC affiliate news station near the school. I instantly fell in love with the atmosphere and found my way into a job there. Since then I have continued to push myself further working for an NPR station, online news station, and even travelled a semester abroad to Europe to Intern in a worldwide news producing station. I have still kept up my competitive training, which has been hard as I juggle my college education and reporting jobs. However, I have managed to keep it a big part of my life and hope to go to the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
